DAYDREAMS
Shuttered windows open wide,
Sparkling sunbeams sweep inside,
Reeling on the patterned floor,
Polish circles on the door.
Dancing diamonds of delight
Entertain me while I write.
This is where I want to be,
Touched by sun and poetry.
ART FESTIVAL
Like flower vendors in the street
you tempt me with your wares,
poets with a transient song,
pied pipers at the fair.I dreamed that I could buy your
books, your drawings and your art.
Instead I stole them all from you
and stored them in my heart.
NOTHING IS THE SAME
Rain on the roof is different now.
Sunset lacks its rosy hue.
Evening stars flicker and fade
Yet the wind still wails for you.
