Call for Submissions
North Coast Voices
A Poetry Anthology
Seeking poems by those who grew up, lived, worked, or visited the region adjacent to Lake Erie from Toledo to Buffalo or pertinent to life or activities in the region.
Guidelines:
Submissions through our Submittable portal.
Cover letter should list titles of submitted work and whether they have been previously published.
Processing fee: $3 for up to three poems.
Maximum length per poem is 60 lines.
All poems should be submitted together in a single WORD file—no PDFs
Simultaneous submission is allowed. Please withdraw if accepted elsewhere.
Previously published acceptable as long as author owns reprint rights.
Accepting submissions May 1 through September 1 with final selections announced in late September for Spring 2026 publication.
Contributors will receive one free copy, but the publisher will award three honorariums of $50 for best, previously unpublished poems.
Since we are offering money for previously unpublished poems, unless an entry is specifically identified as unpublished, we will assume it has been, and it will not be eligible for the honorarium.
Questions regarding this project will only be answered through August 25 since there is always a last-minute rush to submit.
Those questions should be addressed to the following email address:
EditorMSR@Outlook.com
If no link is available for a specific anthology, please direct questions to: editormsr@outlook.com
Anthologies already published by Main Street Rag can be found in the MSR Online Bookstore in the Anthology drop down.
